Mighty Jupiter
& The Mooncake Band

No one asked for shoehaze, but here it is. A band that shouldn’t exist, making music that shouldn’t work—yet somehow does.
A collection of songs we swore were finished.

A Colossal Gig For An Intimate Few—Live at Tallinnas Pagalms
It wasn’t a concert. Not in the usual sense. No screaming crowds, no beer-soaked floors, no guy in the back yelling for a song we don’t play. Just music, unfiltered, unfolding right there. A stage too small for the sound, a moment too big to fit neatly into memory.

The guitars shimmered, the voices soared, and for a while, nothing else mattered—not the amp feedback, not the missed notes only we noticed. The room breathed with us, and when the last chord rang out, there was a pause. A second of silence where everyone knew—this was something. And then, as always, it was over.
A Colossal Gig For An Intimate Few
A night when everything aligned—sound, space, and whatever else makes live music feel like a small miracle.
Autumn—Official Lyric Video
A quiet pact with the season—one last chance before everything turns to gray. Leaves fall, light fades, and the air hums with something unspoken.

The video mirrors the song: flickering warmth, restless steps, colors that refuse to let go. A story of change, of waiting, of hoping this time, autumn won’t take everything with it.
Autumn—Official Lyric Video
A season of change, a hint of unease, and the quiet realization that some things will slip away no matter how tightly you hold on—that's what new track by Mighty Jupiter & The Mooncake Band is all about.
Renewal—The Mid-Life Crisis Hymn
"Renewal" is what happens when you mix midlife denial with just enough self-awareness to make it hilarious. On one hand, you’ve got the guy in pajamas, shaving his way through the monotony of middle-aged normalcy. On the other, his alter ego struts in—bandana, sunglasses, and enough fake swagger to make you wonder if he’s auditioning for a reality show about has-beens who still think they’re cool.

It’s a visual metaphor for the existential tug-of-war between who you are and who you want people to think you are. In the end, you're left with a delightful trainwreck of misguided reinvention. You’ll laugh, you’ll cringe, and if you’re over 30, you might just feel personally attacked.
Renewal
A sarcastic anthem for those who insist they’ve evolved while clinging to the same old mistakes, with embarrassing branding.
They Said It—So It Must Be True
  • In a saturated music industry, it’s hard to stand out and bring true originality. That’s exactly what Mighty Jupiter & The Mooncake Band have done with their debut album. There’s a theatricality to it all, as well as an experimental feel. At its heart, though, are compelling vocals and plenty of instrumental flair. It’s one of the albums of the year for me.

  • There will always be something special about a band that forges their own sound. Breaking free from what mainstream radio wants you to hear is quite liberating…. and in my opinion creates some of the best music! Our new discovery Mighty Jupiter & The Mooncake Band fit that mold perfectly with their fresh sound.

  • Whether they are embracing smooth and alluring textures or adding something more anthemic as it plays, Mighty Jupiter & The Mooncake Band are certainly looking to turn plenty of heads with this riveting debut outing. Although it may be their only release to date, 'Forced Fun For The Just OK Life' showcases a band with a strong and confident grasp over their style already. Moving with this subtle elegance at every turn, they already feel like an outfit that has only just scratched the surface of their potential right now.

  • It’s only a matter of time before Mighty Jupiter & The Mooncake Band are making major international waves with their seraphic walls of sound.
